Vietnam Veterans Memorial: The Moving Wall | Amherst, NH – 19 July 2018

You do not have to be a Veteran or a member of the PGR to attend missions. All individuals are welcome. We encourage all who wish to attend and participate to do so. Unless otherwise stated all of our missions are open to anyone whether they ride or not. If this will be your first mission please go to the staging location as indicated and you will be briefed by the FLC (Flag Line Captain) or RC (Ride Captain). Please remember to dress for the weather and the event in which you will be attending. Dress comfortably but respectfully.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial: The Moving Wall | Amherst, NH – 19 July 2018

The PGR has been invited to coordinate an escort for the Vietnam War Memorial Moving Wall into Souhegan High School in Amherst, NH. We will also coordinate a “Ride-In” for the opening ceremony and provide Flag Lines for the varying segments of the proceedings that will take place over the weekend.

The Moving Wall, a half-sized replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Washington D.C. will be at Souhegan High School in Amherst, NH from July 19th through July 22nd. We are inviting all Veterans Motorcycle groups to join us in this escort and ride in to Honor our Vietnam Veterans. 

This mission will be a multi-day, multi-segment event for us. Please pay close attention to the details and watch for updates.

Although we are not in charge of the 24 hr security schedule there will be a need for help filling the security requirements. We will be looking for volunteers to fill 2 hr shifts. You can take more than 1 shift in a row if you would prefer to do more hours at a time.
