Greetings, 

This years elections will happen at the Board of Directors meeting on Sunday, April 12th. We have two (2) positions up for election this year, Secretary and Member-at-Large. The Secretary is up for election for a 3 year term while the Member-at-Large is a 1 year term. For more information please see the position descriptions and duties below. 

Any member in good standing with the NH Patriot Guard Riders may nominate either his or herself or another member in good standing to either of the positions available. To nominate a person please email me no later than Friday, April 10th. You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours confirming I have received your nomination. All individuals nominated will be contacted prior to being put on the ballot for election.

In addition we are seeking three (3) independent Inspectors of Election to be in attendance at our Annual Membership Meeting to count and finalize our election results. If you would like to volunteer for this position please contact me directly.

Secretary
(a) Keep the minutes and records of the organization in appropriate brooks or electronic files.
(b) It shall be his/her duty to file any certificate(s) required by any statute, federal or state.
(c) The Secretary shall be the official custodian of the records and seal of this organization
(d) The Secretary may be one of the officers required to sign the checks and drafts of the organization
(e) The Secretary shall present to the membership at any meetings any communication addressed to him/her as Secretary of the organization
(f) The Secretary shall submit to the Board of Directors any communications, which shall be be address to him/her as Secretary of the organization
(g) The Secretary shall attend to all correspondence of the organization and shall exercise all duties incident to the office of Secretary.

Member-at-Large
(a) The Member-at-Large shall be the BoD representative on the Meet n’ Greet committee and work with said committee in the planning and execution of all NHPGR social gatherings. While serving in the Member-at-Large position they will not be eligible to serve in a Leadership position within the NHPGR, these positions include, but are not limited to the following; Sr. Ride Captain, Ride Captain, Ride Captain in-Training, Flag Line Captain and/or Tall Flags Coordinator.
