Updated information shown below in red.
On August 1st Manchester Harley Davidson (115 John Devine Dr in Manchester) is holding its 1st Annual Veterans Count Motorcycle Rodeo. Participants will compete in various time trials on obstacle courses designed to be completed on motorcycles. First prize will be $1000 donated to the veteran affiliated charity of your choice (or to the group if represented by a team of participants). In addition, all proceeds from the event will go to benefit the New England-based Veterans Count charity. There will be music, food, vendors and of course the dealership will be open.
NHPGR is looking for riders who are interested in participating for the 1st prize so it can be awarded to NHPGR.
Registration begins @ 9 AM the day of the event.
I have confirmed that all of the events are low or slow speed events and for some there will be a “novice” class for less experienced riders. There are 5 events in all but you can register for each one individually, so you can do 1, all 5 or somewhere in between depending on what you’re comfortable with. Registration for each event is $5 per event per rider.
The actual competition will take place in the large strip mall parking lot located behind Manchester Harley and the new Goodwill store next door. It is a large parking lot and the pavement is in good condition. On a hot day there may be some slick spots however.
Staging for a NHPGR group ride in (participants and spectators alike) is as follows:
Alltown Mobil, 2391 Brown Ave in Manchester, 8:45 AM
KSU: 9:00 AM when we will proceed as a group to Manchester Harley.
If you are interested in participating on behalf of NHPGR please contact me directly.
