Greetings,
Due to some recent updates of some of our critical website plugins it started causing some issues with the website overall. Because these plugins are so instrumental in how we relay information on a daily basis it was decided the best course of action was to update the entire website to better coexist. As a result the website has undergone a complete overhaul, both visually and structurally. The newly updated website was built with the focus on trying to attract users (members) as well as relaying information in a clean and easy to use format. Hopefully this was accomplished, but only time will tell on that. In addition the updates and general house cleaning was done to improve the overall performance of the website, making it more stable and easier to use on both desktop and mobile platforms.
On top of the overhaul we also decided to reopen our NHPGR store, also with a few changes and modifications. In the past we as an organization had to order apparel in bulk, pre-pay for said apparel and then try and recoup that money by selling it either online (and shipping it) or at in-person events. This is costly and very time consuming, especially as an all volunteer organization that operates solely on donations. This time around we partnered up with Printify and all store orders are submitted, printed, packed and shipped as they are ordered. The store itself is integrated with the website but the product, printing and shipping is handled by the vendors we chose based on the designs we designed.
As of right now we have a small selection of some of your basic apparel items up on the website and ready for purchase. The plan going forward is to create and offer some limited editions and sale items. We are always looking for some additional help in the graphics design department if anyone has anything they would like to offer or suggest.
Check out the new website and the store at https://nhpatriotguard.org/nhpgr-gear-apparel/ and get your orders in just in time for the holidays!
Any questions, ideas or suggestions please feel free to contact me.
