Daily Emails

Greetings,

I just wanted to send a quick email out about our Daily and Weekly Emails. On occasion I will get an email from someone or multiple someone’s inquiring why they are no longer receiving the daily or weekly email. This is especially common around this time of year.

A couple things of note, the emails are generated based off of what is on our calendar. If there are no events on the calendar then an email will not be sent, to anyone, not just you. Throughout the year this isn’t typically a problem because there is usually always something coming up on the calendar. Toward the end of the year though our meetings are done and we slow down so we have gaps and those gaps cause a lapse in emails. I would strongly encourage anyone and everyone that doesn’t receive an email to first check our website, if there are no events listed on the right hand side of the very first page then that would be the explanation as to why you didn’t receive an email.

This of course is not always the case, on occasion the system has a “hiccup” and someone people may not get an email. It’s not often but it does happen from time to time. In the event that happens then I would again encourage everyone to visit our website to find out what is going on and what is coming up. You may also visit our Facebook page and see all of our events there. 99.9% of our missions get posted to both our website and Facebook, there have been occasions where one has been missed but again those times are few and far between.

Our email system is great and I’m sure it helps a lot of you in keeping tabs on what is going on but it is not the end all be all of our notification system. We have additional methods in which to keep up to date with all of our activities.

As for the rest of this year …. there’s nothing at the moment on the horizon but you will start seeing 2021 events popping up shortly. In the interim if I don’t see you, or talk to you beforehand I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Holiday and also a safe and Happy New Year.

You do not have to be a Veteran or a member of the PGR to attend missions. All individuals are welcome. We encourage all who wish to attend and participate to do so. Unless otherwise stated all of our missions are open to anyone whether they ride or not. If this will be your first mission please go to the staging location as indicated and you will be briefed by the FLC (Flag Line Captain) or RC (Ride Captain). Please remember to dress for the weather and the event in which you will be attending. Dress comfortably but respectfully.
