Good Afternoon, 

With the current state of affairs happening across the country and also here in NH, I wanted to just send out a quick reminder of sorts to everyone. I hesitated in sending this, however, while reviewing some news coverage of an event that occurred this past week in Manchester, I saw a photo that made me change my mind. Before anyone asks, it was not PGR related.

As it appears now, the large scale events happening across our country aren’t slowing down. There have already been a few events here in NH, with more expected. It is the right of everyone in this country to have an opinion on what happened and what is currently happening, and it is not my place, nor should it be my place (or any organization’s place, for that matter), to restrict that opinion. That is after all one of the greatest things about this country; we have those rights and they should be exercised often. 

I want to remind everyone that, while we as individuals have opinions and we have the right to express those opinions, we as an organization do not. The same goes for politics; as everyone knows, the PGR is an apolitical organization. We do not involve ourselves in politics no matter the scale (local, state or federal). I cannot stress this enough. I wholeheartedly encourage our members too be as involved as they want, because once again, it is a foundation of this country. However, while doing so, make sure you leave the PGR gear at home; events and demonstrations are no different, you as an individual are free to attend and allow your voice and your opinions to be heard, just make sure that you don’t inadvertently bring the PGR into the equation.

We will continue to honor those that have served and continue to serve our country, whether it is here at home or abroad. We all have our differences, but in the flag line none of that matters; we have a mission and that is why we all come together.
