NH Veterans Home Craft Fair

You do not have to be a Veteran or a member of the PGR to attend missions. All individuals are welcome. We encourage all who wish to attend and participate to do so. Unless otherwise stated all of our missions are open to anyone whether they ride or not. If this will be your first mission please go to the staging location as indicated and you will be briefed by the FLC (Flag Line Captain) or RC (Ride Captain). Please remember to dress for the weather and the event in which you will be attending. Dress comfortably but respectfully.

NH Veterans Home Craft Fair

The NH State Veterans Home in Tilton will be holding their annual craft fair on Saturday, 03 November 2018. They are in need of volunteers to help out ….

Friday, 02 November 2018

  • 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm – DECORATE, DECORATE, DECORATE!!!! Fun stuff! We will be decorating a LARGE area in the facility which includes the great room, rec center and the administrative office area. There are decorations to be hung, trees to be put up, lights to be hung, Santa’s area decorated….. We will also be setting up all of the tables for the vendors. We can us about 20 people for this HUGE task! Peggy will be treating all to dinner (either big subs or pizza so you won’t have to worry about dinner).

Saturday,. 03 November 2018

  • 07:00 am -09:00 am – Help vendors unload, get the white elephant table ready (unloading boxes and possibly some marking), and misc. unforeseen tasks. 4 to 5 people
  • 09:00 am -3:00 pm – Sell raffle tickets for both the 50-50 and the raffle items we will have displayed, man the white elephant table (2 people), assist vendors by getting them food, drink, covering for bathroom breaks or lunch breaks, helping with any line we may have for pictures with Santa, assisting with serving food and drinks and other misc. unforeseen tasks. 10 to 15 people more if we split up shifts. I’m thinking people won’t want to do the whole day.
  • 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm – The not so fun stuff….. Taking everything down, putting it away and cleaning up. Many hands make light work!!!

This is hard to gauge but I’m guessing we could use about 15 people. We are basically going to have to do a lot moving stuff back in place, taking down decorations, and folding tables.
