STAND DOWN: Town of Atkinson – 250th Anniversary Parade / Atkinson, NH – 03 Sept 17

You do not have to be a Veteran or a member of the PGR to attend missions. All individuals are welcome. We encourage all who wish to attend and participate to do so. Unless otherwise stated all of our missions are open to anyone whether they ride or not. If this will be your first mission please go to the staging location as indicated and you will be briefed by the FLC (Flag Line Captain) or RC (Ride Captain). Please remember to dress for the weather and the event in which you will be attending. Dress comfortably but respectfully.

250th Anniversary Parade

STAND DOWN *** STAND DOWN

Due to weather forecasts calling for the heaviest rains right at the start of the parade we will be standing down due to safety concerns. 

The NHPGR has been invited to participate in the Town of Atkinson’s 250th Anniversary Parade on Sunday, 03 September 2017. The parade kicks off at 3:00 pm and is 2 miles long. We will be 2nd in line up after the surrounding towns Motorcycle LEO’s. 

If you have 3×5 flags for your bike be sure to bring them.

Prepare for the weather and remember to hydrate prior to and during the event.

Pre-Staging: Sunoco Gas Station, One Hall Farm Rd Atkinson NH

Staging: 1:00 pm
Briefing: 1:20 pm
KSU: 1:30 pm

We’ll be riding in as a group to the primary staging location in Atkinson via Rte-121 flying our 3×5’s. At this time I believe we will be accompanied by members of the “Red Knights”. The event coordinator has informed me that of course this is a celebration and they would love to have it “NOISY”.
